Leonard E Cerisano Leonard E Cerisano of Goshen NY, entered into rest on Friday, 10/26/18. He passed away peacefully at NYU Langone, NYC, surrounded by his loving family. Leonard was born January 3, 1936 in Bronx New York to Leonardo Cerisano and Lena Stumpanado. Leonard graduated from Evander Childs High School and Pratt Institute in Manhattan NY majoring in design. Leonard began his long career in the graphic industry of Manhattan at Doyle Dane Bernbach, then moving into becoming an entrepreneur starting his own business in the mailing and fulfillment industry pioneering advancements and achieving great success. Throughout his lifetime Leonard volunteered for many charitable causes and spent decades giving his time for mentoring programs and Church organizations. He was a member of SCORE, the Italian American Club, National Republican Committee and served on the Board of Directors of Lauderdale West Senior Community in Florida. Leonard was a passionate person with strong convictions and loved debating and engaging in conversation. Leonard was an amazing son to his parents, Leonardo and Lena, living their last days with him, and a loving husband to wife Marina Ruth Cerisano, who he is predeceased by. Leonard is predeceased by two sisters, Norma DeBellis and Eleanor Guiffre with one surviving sister Livia Cersosimo & Brother in Law Louis Cersosimo of Ocala Fla. He is also survived by Four loving children, Delia Cerisano of Goshen NY, Lorena Cerisano and partner Rebecca Northwood of Goshen NY, Leonard Cerisano and wife Lori of Newburgh NY, Cary Cerisano and wife Karen of Milford PA. He is survived by 6 Amazing grandchildren, and 1 beautiful Great grandson: Grant LaRusso of Denver, Colorado, Amanda LaRusso of Denver Colorado, Joseph LaVecchia and his partner Laura Rizzo of Brooklyn NY, Austin Cerisano and Fiancee Kelsey Klein Bauer of Dunmore PA, Allison Cerisano of Manhattan NY, James Gonzalez of Hartsdale NY and Michael Cerisano of Newburgh NY. Leonard is also survived by many nieces, nephews & great nieces and nephews that he loved spending time with. Len was a very creative man, amazing communicator and loved passionate conversation he also enjoyed cooking for his family, his passion was chicken cutlets, eggplant parmigiana, pork tomato sauce and meatballs, those times will be cherished memories forever. He is now happily with his beloved Marina. At the request of Leonard, he will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St, Goshen NY 10924, on Tuesday, 10/30/18 from 4pm – 8 pm with a blessing by Sister Ann at 7 pm.
