Obituary of John Paul Arent

John Paul Arent, age 81, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at ORMC-Orange Regional Medical Center of Middletown, NY. John was born December 11, 1936 in St. Albans, NY. He is the son of the late Henry and the late May Arent. He married Barbara Falla on July 23, 1983 and ran a roofing business for 45 years before retiring. They currently were residing together with their faithful, loving dog, Nickie in Goshen where they have lived for the past 39 years.
John is a Vietnam Air Force Veteran who lived his life his way and enjoyed every minute of it. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Arent ; his beloved children: Karen, Bonnie, Eric, John, Michele and Patty ; his adored grandchildren: Frankie, Sophia, Dylan, Chloe, Connor, Lea, Matt, Dan, and Kristy ; and his sister: Annette Moran.
He is predeceased by his siblings: Daniel, Robert, Jean, and Doris.
Visitation will be Monday, December 3 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
Burial will be in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen on Tuesday, December 4 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in John's name may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc.
