I remember the first time I met my mothers friend Martha. She had brought her daughter Nancy with her to visit at our house.
Nancy and I got along instantly and we asked our moms if I could spend the night as t Martha’s home to hand with Nancy.
This is my memory of that day, the fact that Martha owned a Pacer. And the backseat was down and I had to ride back there. I was the weirdest ride I ever had, since it’s all window back there, I felt like I was on display and didn’t rate normal seating, and Lordy did I have to hang on. Martha rolled me a few times while driving , lol. I think I was like 11 or 12 years old then . I’m 58 now, but I sure remember that ride to this day.
Martha was a kind , generous, and understanding woman.
She still alive in my memory.
