For many years I have talked with Marie in an on-line chatroom. We have just learned of her death and are saddened by it. I have known her as a loving and caring person who was committed to Christ and the Church. I will miss her presence in our discussions of life and faith.

To Marie's family, I was so very saddened to hear that such a special woman, Marie, had passed away. I worked for Marie as a CCD teacher,at St. Johns, for several years. She was a dedicated, caring, spiritual individual who always keep the children at the heart of every decision she made as CCD Coordinator. It was a privlege to have worked with her. Although, my heart is heavy with her passing; I take comfort in knowing that she is with God now. Love n Prayers

Marie kept the flame of faith burning brightly in Orange County for many years. She was so much more than Sr. Eileen Riley's secretary when the first regional office was established in Chester about 30 years ago. It is a joy knowing & loving her as colleague and friend. She will be missed.

Marie was a neighbor of ours and we will miss her smiling face whenever we would see her. Our dog Lucy used to roll over for Marie to give her belly rubs.

I was so sad to see the obituary announcement in today's paper. Mrs. Jackson was so kind and helpful to me when I moved to Goshen in 1991 and enrolled my children in Religious Education classes. Both of my sons attended the program and we have many fond memories of Mrs. Jackson making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to do. Many years later I had a little girl and when Victoria began CCD Mrs. Jackson always asked abaout my sons--remembering so much about their lives. She always took the time to make me feel like she cared. Many people pass through our lives but it is not often that someone like Mrs. Jackson touches us in a way we will never forget and in a way that makes life a little bit better. In my mind I will always see her outside of St. John's with a big smile on her face, ringing the bell. May she rest in Peace.
