Uncle Jack McCoy and Pat Locker
Randy Hathaway was a wonderful man with a sunny attitude who was one of the “last real gentlemen”! I first met him through his Uncle Jack who is my partner. Randy and Jack were only seven years apart and were more like buddies than uncle and nephew. They skied together, rode motorcycles and just “hung out”! They loved each other. When I first met Randy, he literally embraced me and would always give me hugs and say, “how are you my dear?” No one has ever referred to me as “my dear” but Randy! I always felt his warmth and caring and will forever remember the vacation Randy treated us to last April. He was the consummate chauffeur and guide as he drove us around his favorite resort town of Mystic, treating us to a great dinner in his favorite restaurant. THAT was Randy at his best! Jack and I will miss Randy forever and both know that we can never fill the hole in our hearts left by losing him. Randy, may God hold you in the palm of his hand until we meet again! Love you to the moon and back, sweetheart!

Today is your Birthday Randy and I miss you more than ever. In your honor I bought bags and cans of food for cats and dogs and delivered it to the Humane Society in Middletown/Fair Oaks that you frequented. I told them it was being given in your name, in your honor. They were extremely grateful and remembered you fondly with tears in their eyes. You touched many people' hearts and through our memories of you , you will never be forgotten and you will live on. I've had the blessing to know you since I was 16 years old and together we have grown through the years. Survived through thick and thin. Bad times and Good. Laughing, yelling, crying. But always with love in our hearts for each other. YOU WERE MY BEST FRIEND, A GOOD SOUL AND A KIND, GENTLEMAN. You earned your wings long ago my friend. Please set a place for me for when it is my turn to go HOME, we will see each other again.

P.S. Randy's final resting place is not in Newburgh, but rather the Warwick Cemetary in Warwick NY. Arrangements to be placed there will be at future date as of yet unknown. Thank you.

Randy was one half of the best Boss I have ever had.
Randy had the biggest heart anyone can imagine. Carmen is the same and more.

Randy was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to know. I met Randy when he and Carmen came into my office for insurance. From the first minute I met him I knew he was a genuinely nice and sincere person. He was more than a customer to me he was a friend. I did not see him that often but when I did he always had a bright smile and always had something nice to say to you. He was such a generous man also. He would do anything for you as I found out when my son needed a vehicle . He and Carmen offered me a vehicle and that is something I will never forget.
He will be so missed by so many people and I am one of them. My thoughts are with Carman and Bill as I know how much they will miss this truly awesome man.
