I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Mayo's passing! I only met her briefly when I worked for her husband John, at Norton & Christensen but I remember that she was just a lovely person. I pray the family can find some comfort during this difficult time.

Dearest Mom:
I have been trying to write this in my head for months and thought it would be easy. Now that I have to do it for real, it's not so easy. What is easy is to tell you how much you were loved and will be missed by so many. You were the best mom a daughter could ever be so privileged to have. I am forever thankful and grateful for the 49 plus years we had together. I wish there were more, but I am at comfort and peace knowing you now are. A dear childhood friend just told me yesterday how much I need to cherish the fact that you bore me and I held your hand and comforted you during your death. You are my best friend and I will love and honor you every day in every way you did the same for so many fortunate people who had the chance to know you.
I love you mom and will miss you forever.

God bless Ann and your family. It was a pleasure to know her. (She was the best trivia player on the Goshen Rotary team each time she joined us!). The many happy memories are a source of strength. Rest well, Ann. We’ll take it from here...
