David, not a day goes by that I don't think of you . I stopped by harolds barber shop yesterday and I was able to speak with your fatheron the phone. What a champion and kind soul to talk about you with such love flowing with every word he spoke was from his heart. David, you brought life in everyone you spoke to weather or not they wanted to hear what you had to say. The world could use a million more honest people like you to decludder the filth that is ravishing our families and destroying the the fabric of America. When my dogtag number is called I will see you walking with our Savior Jesus Christ. God Bless you , my Brother in arms and Brother in Christ .

David planted the seed of recovery for me. Way back when the Demarest Hotel was the hot spot in Warwick. I will never forget that day. Years later my family ask him to come and help me again, and he did, no hesitation. He did what he could but I wasn’t ready to receive the help being offered.
David escorted my twin sister to the senior prom, along with myself and Tommy Logan. A lot of many great memories as we were growing up.
What i loved most about David was his likable arrogance. I believe...you loved him, or you really didn’t know him :-). He was absolutely a beautiful man, a beautiful person inside and out.
My heart goes out to Mr. Snell, Pat, Angie, and Gary, who i’ve known since i was a little girl, along with my whole family.
May GOD Bless you,
I Love You guys, Maria (twin)

David was a man who touched so many lives. He was a stand up guy, a proud veteran, father, friend, family member, brother etc. He was always there to offer advice, help those who were struggling and reassure those who needed direction in their lives that everything would be alright .He had that ability to comfort those who so desperately needed it. We shared our love for motorcycles and brotherhood. We put on thousands of miles together along with so many trips, rides, runs, and others activities as members of the Last Chance MC. We would often sit around a campfire late at night or a picnic table early in the morning, enjoying quiet times and thinking about how lucky we were to have overcome some of the obstacles in our lives. We had that gratitude for the things that we had and the good lives we worked so hard to achieve. I know I can speak for all of the Last Chance MC when I say that you will be missed by all that had the privilege to know you. Gone but not forgotten, Forever in our hearts!! We love you brother Shadow, until we meet again to ride heaven's highway! Ride In Peace!!
Your brother forever. Sean "Bullet" McAvoy
