Domenico (Dominic) Federico, 81, of Chester, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Garnet Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Domenico was born April 14, 1939 in Town of Giarre within the city of Catania on the east coast of Sicily in southern Italy; the son of Giovanni and Antonia (Leotta) Federico, both deceased. He retired most recently, a former employee of Exhibit & Tradeshow Consultants of Middletown NY as well as Karpy Kitchens of Florida NY and Golden Area Products of Middletown NY. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing bocce in Chester with many good friends. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Jennie Grace Federico of Chester NY, and son John Thomas Federico of Poughkeepsie NY. Also survived by his sister Maria, neice Jennie Ann, nephew Mario, several cousins in Italy, as well as many loving friends and family members throughout the United States. Special Thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Garnet Health Medical Center (ORMC) 4-North. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, January 4, 2021 at St. Columba R. C. Church, 27 High St, Chester, NY. Burial will follow in St Columba Cemetery, Chester, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude -or- Memorial Sloan Kettering (Dr. Preeshagul and team).
