Denise C. Delgado, 58, of Burlingham, NY died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Denise was born September 2, 1962 in Newburgh, NY, the daughter of Franklyn and Dorothy (Lahn) Rose. She was a longtime resident of the area who worked as an RN at Horton Hospital, Orange Regional Medical Center and Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. She was in the Army Reserves for Nursing and received an honorable discharge in 1986. Denise went on to raise her 3 children and continued her education in Nursing at Orange County Community College, where she received her Associate's in Applied Science and RN. She is survived by her children, Lesley Rose-Delgado Robinson and her wife Kimberly Robinson of Monticello, NY, Matthew Delgado, wife Andrea and only granddaughter Madison Jade Delgado of Goshen, NY, and Jason Delgado of Statesville, NC; Her companion, Fred Baker of Burlingham, NY. Her brother Frank Rose, Jr. and companion Fran of Cuddebackville, NY; 3 sisters Linda Benjamin and husband William, Patricia Krawcyk and husband Eddie, and Nancy Romero and husband Joseph, all of Middletown, NY; 4 nieces and 4 nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Rose, father Frank Rose and 2 nieces Rebecca and Rachel Decker. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12 from 2-5 with a service at 4 at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
