Cheryl M. Rooney, 65, of Florida, NY died Sunday, May 16, 2021 at home in Florida.
Cheryl was born November 4, 1955 in Monroe, NY, the daughter of William and Dawn (Campbell) Frees.
Cheryl worked at the Orange County Jail, Goshen, NY as a Corrections Officer.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Rooney and wife Kelly of Bloomingburg and Derek Rooney of Salisbury Mills; grandchildren, Isabella Rooney and Aiden Gracia; her brother, James Frees and wife Claudia; 2 sisters, Linda Diaz and husband Ralph and Lori Montuori and husband Patrick and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Dawn Frees.
Visitation will be Friday, May 21 from 4 to 7 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY; with the Service at 6:45 pm.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
