There are no words to express the pain in my heart ~ my deepest condolences go out to the Larca Family … I met your extraordinary son at my daughters graduation party and I have to tell you, my sister & I couldn’t stop talking about your son’s amazing personality, manners and respect. His presence lit up the room and his personality was infectious. My daughter Ava and I are so deeply saddened by this loss but we pray that your family will find peace, through all the wonderful memories he left behind. I knew Robert in high school, and we only really shared one class together one year, and every day I would come in and he would be laughing and being a social butterfly, and I always used to think that he was such a cool and funny guy, and that I wanted to be outgoing, and funny, and kind, just like he was. We ended up becoming very good friends that year, we hung out outside of school, and when he left for college we didn't talk as much, but when I heard about his passing I was absolutely devastated and I had to offer my condolences. Robert was a wonderful human, and I hope that he rests in peace. My condolences once again.

Dear Larca family, our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your son. Our son, Storm, was his roommate at Iona. We were able to meet Rob on three occasions. And, oh what a nice young man! Last year while I was moving Storm in to the dorm, Rob came over to say hello. I asked where his room was, and said "come I'll show you". He was happy to have the window that faced North Avenue. The year before that, on a visit to my son when they were at Eastchester, my husband hurt his knee while getting out of the car. Rob was the first to offer an ice pack and anything else we needed. We will always have that memory of him. So kind and generous. Lida & David Ramos

My first baby, I have loved you every day of your life. I was always so proud of you. You always were so kind and wanted the best for everyone. I know you were going to do great things in your life. You were a bright, good boy and I want you to know you were so special. Every parent teacher conference and every playdate, everyone told me you were so polite and well spoken. You had one of the brightest, most insightful minds of anyone I have ever met. You were so good, always playing with your little cousins and our little neighbors at the lake. You would have been such a good daddy. You were a wonderful son and loving big brother. You were working on so many great research projects and had so many computer programming ideas. I know you would have made a difference in the world. Your only wish was to help others around you. You will always be in our hearts and memories... I would do anything to bring you back. I know this disorder took you from us and I know you didn't mean to hurt us. You were special and you were important and you were loved. You will be in my heart forever and I will miss your giant bear hugs and uplifting words always. Be in peace my Bo-Bo. I could not have asked for a better son. Robbie was a brilliant young man and would share his ideas, hopes and plans with me on many occasions. I was so impressed with his intelligence. He was also respectful and mannerly.
