Obituary of Robert Garloch

Robert Garloch, age 74, of New Hampton passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Robert was born January 20, 1947 in Atlanta, GA. He was the son of the late John and the late Eleanor (Struble) Garloch.
He was a U.S. Navy Military Veteran serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. His extensive knowledge and passion for Engineering led him to various years of employment with Arden Hill, Horton, and Orange Regional Hospitals. He was also employed by the Franciscan Health system and Pine Bush Central School District as Director of Facilities from which he finally retired in 2011.
He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, camping etc.
He is survived by his loving wife: Elizabeth (Chmielewski) Garloch; sons, Eric and David; granddaughters, Victoria and Rebecca; brother, William as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Doctors John Dermigny and Gnanamba V. Kondagunta for their kind, supportive and expert medical care and the wonderful staff of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties for their responsive, all encompassing, compassionate care.
Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home immediately following visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Roberts name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Strong Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
