"I am not nice when I do not do that which Mr. Tucker expects me to do."
My dad, a fellow science teacher, was fond of Mr. Tucker as am I! To this day, the only teacher I knew that smoked a pipe ...in class. The odor was soothing and nobody complained!
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Lots of love to Ginny, Dan, Cindy, Kathy, Pat, and Tim as they say good-bye to their Dad. What a good man he was, and I have many memories of him as a teacher and father to my friends. I very much regret I will be unable to attend his ceremony as I will be traveling. Much love and peace to you all.

My husband met Eugene as a young teacher in the Goshen School District. Eugene was on the same team with him as the science teacher. He used to come home from school and share wonderful stories about him as a colleague and friend. I felt like I got to know him just through these tales. He spoke often of his children and fishing. He even took my husband fishing with him once to teach him the finer points of creek fishing. When I saw that he had passed away from the paper in brought back all of these wonderful memories of how the had taken a first year teacher under his wing and shown him the ropes. May he rest in peace. Stella and Richard Denton

Mr. & Mrs. Tucker, along with there children, were my childhood! We first lived on Tusten Ave & then around the corner on Wickham. Our backyards met. Growing up in that neighborhood with the Clancy’s next door was the absolute best! We had so much fun! Like I told Ginny, when I first heard of her dad’s passing, he will always be my favorite Lifeguard! I love you all ❤️
