ORVOKKI "VIKKI" NEILS Goshen, New York Orvokki "Vikki" Neils, age 79, of Goshen, NY, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Orvokki was born March 6, 1931 in Siikainen, Finland, the daughter of Henrik Tonttila and Selma Kalliomaki Tonttila. She was the wife of the late Howard G. Neils. Vikki was a bus monitor for G&G Bus Company, Florida, NY and an active member of the Democratic Party in Goshen, NY. She is survived by her son, Kurt J. Neils and wife Misty of Hamburg, PA; daughter, Lynn A. Neils and husband Peter K. Vigeland of Glen Ridge, NJ; brothers, Kosti Tonttila and Matti Tonttila both of Finland; sisters, Annikki Mikko of St. Paul, Minn. and Irja Vanni of Finland; 6 grandchildren, Ashley, Emma, Sophie, Ryan, Claire and Jason; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Howard Neils and her son, Eric G. Neils. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 27 at 11:30 am at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Vikki's name to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
