I just learned of Franks's passing and wish to express my sincere condolences to his family and many friends from all walks of life. We shared a love of baseball and collecting Indian artifacts, and both of us grew up on a farm. Frank was a wonderful person and a genuine "nice guy". We shared many hours discussing the respective woes of the Cardinals and Pirates as well as our latest acquisitions of artifacts. Every Fourth of July I would send him a photo of me standing in the corn field to show just how high our Illinois corn had grown. Frank had many varied interests and was always a delight with whom to visit. I always learned something every time we spoke. Frank enjoyed attending shows even when it was a challenge for him to do so. We enjoyed setting up next to each other at the Collinsville show. RIP, my friend; you certainly earned it,

I met Frankie5k through the Orange Runners club. He was always a ray of sunshine with his smile n kind words.
I hadn't seen Frank in many years n when we ran into each other, always a big hello n hug from this happy man.
I was visiting a friend in Park Manor n heard Frank was there. I surprised him with a visit. He greeted me with that same smile n kindness. He was as happy to see me as I was him. I'm so glad I got to see him in his final days. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.
God Rest His Soul.

Frank J Foremny, Jr.
Member of Goshen High School class of 1961. Wearer of 'Blue Corduroy" in "Dusty" Sloan's Ag Classes.*
Dairy farmer, contractor and businessman. A baseball fan, ( he had inherited that DNA, from his father) par excel lance. Collector of memorabilia from the Shoeless Joe Jackson
and Bucketfoot Al Simmons** era. An inventor (a safer football helmet). A runner. Collector of native American artifacts. He was the Key ID-person for the Drowned Lands Historical Society.
Friendly and always ready to mentor the younger generation. Great sense of humor! He didn't complain, he dealt with setbacks. Loved his family!
One Frank anecdote:
When he awoke the night that he had his second stroke. he made three telephone calls.
The first to call a taxi, knowing it would arrive more quickly than the volunteer ambulance. (And if truth be known, not to alarm the across the street neighbors with lights, sirens and an ambulance)
The second to his friend to come and retrieve his dog, the plan had been to drop it off later that morning on his way to the airport,
And the third to the airline to cancel his flight as he was scheduled to fly out to the mid-West to attend a convention on Indian artifacts.
He then went out and sat in a chair outside on the porch to wait for the taxi to take him to the hospital.
Frank had his priorities straight.
He will be sorely missed by all that knew him!
*Proud member of the FFA.
