Robert L. Decker, 79, of Washingtonville, NY, entered into rest on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY.
Robert was born January 6, 1944, in Goshen, NY, the son of Lawrence Decker and Barbara Campbell Decker. He was a 1962 graduate of Goshen High School. He retired from Local 373 in Salisbury Mills, NY as a Steamfitter where he was a 50-year member, a lifetime member of Dikeman Hose Goshen, an avid fly fisherman and sportsman and member of Lone Pine Hunting Camp. He raced motocross for over 50 years with D34, New York and the MSC motocross association. Member of Goshen Pacers Hot Rod club.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Joy Campo-Decker of Washingtonville, his son, Colin Decker, daughter Campbell Decker Engelsen, daughter Kelly Decker and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Shannon R. Decker. Survived by his brother, Joseph Decker of Goshen.
