Obituary of Nancy Sue Carroll

NANCY SUE CARROLL BETHEL, CONNECTICUT Nancy Sue Carroll, 51, of Bethel, CT, formerly from Monroe, NY, entered into peace with our heavenly Father on Friday, April 9, 2010 after a lifetime battle from a serious car accident in 1978. Nancy was born on August 23, 1958 in Manhattan, NY; however her years growing up were in Monroe. She was a 1976 Washingtonville High School graduate and was head cashier at Shop-Rite, Rt. 17M, Monroe, NY just prior to the car accident. Even though Nancy is at peace now she has been missed for many years. Her sweet smile, compassionate ways and her chocolate chip cookies her brother loved so much was taken suddenly away at such a young age. May she find peace and happiness now in our loving Fathers arms. She is survived by her father, Alfred Carroll of Southwinds Retirement Home, Middletown, NY and brother, Robert Carroll with his wife Debbie of New Hampton, NY; nieces and nephews; Christopher Carroll of Liberty, NY, Crystal Flanagan of Aberdeen, NJ., Lori Flanagan of Goshen, NY., Patricia Flanagan of Liberty, NY., Shaun Flanagan of Liberty, NY., Dominick Carroll and Steffanie Carroll both of New Hampton, NY., and great nephews, Steven and Harley Carroll both of Liberty, NY. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins both in the United States and Ireland. She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Carroll, sister, Lyn Ann Carroll Flanagan and grandparents, Ethel Quigley Kehl, Bob Quigley, Mary and Patrick Carroll. The family would like to thank Ability Beyond Disability for the compassionate loving care they provided Nancy the past 15 years, especially - Verna Bygrave, Pat Caporale, Elba Ervin, Mayerlin Castro, Margo Eldridge, Maureen Campbell, Jessica Dipalma, Emmanuel Louis, Todd Rogotzke, Diana Stavola, Mari Manzano, , Pam Arturi, Henrietta Vered, Kathleen Healy, Marlene Mumford, Debbie Musumeci, Sue Ackell and Michelle Petrie. Visitation will be Monday, April 12, from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 13, at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen. Burial will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery, Harriman, NY.
