John "Jay" Jasinski, Jr. Goshen, New York John J. Jasinski, Jr., "Cold Steel" 72, Goshen died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. John was born April 9, 1938 in Goshen, NY, the son of the late John J. Jasinski, Sr. and the late Lillian H. (Miller) Jasinski. John served in the U.S. Army, was a Sales Associate for North End Sales and also was a salesman at Sear Appliances in Middletown for about 10 years. He was a member of the Middletown Elks-Local 1097. He is survived by his sister, Luccille H. Carroll and husband Richard J. Carroll of Middletown; niece, Theresa Carroll and nephews, Richard Carroll, Jr. and Michael J. Carroll; great nephew, Matthew Fredericks and 3 great nieces. Visitation will be Saturday, April 17 from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 17 at 10:30 am at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in John's name to St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen, NY 10924 or the Diabetes Association.
