Dolores A. Costa, age 90, of Goshen entered into rest Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at home in Goshen.
Dolores was born June 14, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Salustine and the late Elsie (Parsons) Stryker. She married the love of her life, Louis A. Costa, in 1952. They were happily married until his death in 2009. They raised their family in Waldwick New Jersey.
After her retirement from TD Bank as Bank Manager they moved to Manchester New Jersey where then she worked OCTVS as secretary to the nursing principal until she was 80. Dolores enjoyed many activities including the beach, gardening, Broadway Shows, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children Patricia (Guillermo) Tobar, Louis Costa, Luanne (Timothy) Meade and Ralph (Catherine) Costa.
In addition she is survived by her cherished grandchildren Brianna (Natalie), Anthony, Kyle, Riley, Primo, Graziella, Noah and Rosalina.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 30 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate her life will be held 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association or St. Francis of Assisi Breadline.
