I'd like to share one story out of the many wonderful stories Tom shared with us. He talked about one reason why he chose to be a trial attorney and it was to overcome his fear of having to speak in front of others. I was stunned! He was so confident as he spoke, sharing his cases as well as quoting historical facts when it pertained to a specific holiday or event. Just incredible!
I never would have thought that. Having self doubt in myself at times, this will stay with me.
I am thankful to have known him and have enjoyed the brief time we had with him. He will will be missed a great deal.

I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was a wonderful friend and a tremendous trial lawyer. We worked together at Richard Baldwin’s office in Hauppauge and became fast friends. He had a very quick wit and always had some trivia he would tell us about.(usually at lunch) We would call him a repository of useless information. Actually most of the time it wasn’t useless but he accepted his title and reveled in it. Each day he would tell us some obscure fact. I remember him always training for a triathlon or some bicycle ride. We lost touch for a while but I did run into him several times in court within the last few years. It was nice to catch up with him and see that he was doing so well at his job in the city.
Tom was a one of a kind guy and will be truly missed by many. God bless him and his family. May he rest in peace.
