I did not have the honor of knowing Danny up close and personal as so many if you have. The brief encounters I had with him remain fresh in my mind and heart because Danny is everything to everyone as we have heard from countless individuals who had the honor of meeting and knowing Danny. Every person who spoke of Danny explained how he loved everyone he encountered because of his deep love and genuine concern for everyone’s well being. Because to Danny, everyone mattered.
Indeed Danny is and remains an extremely rare gem, one which could never be duplicated.
The memory I do hold dear is a joyful one when he and Lili had met, perhaps only seen one another, just very recently before this encounter. Danny and Lili frequented the same coffee shop in town. I was with Lili this fine day. Danny saw Lili and commenced a nice conversation. I believe Danny already knew in his spirit that Lili was his mate; Lili may have known yet at that point she remained cautious, declining his requests for a date. Her response to him was that she would maybe see him at the coffee shop; to me she somewhat projected that meeting at the coffee shop, by chance, was his best opportunity to see her again! Danny’s beautiful person and smile remained, positive, demonstrating he had genuinely hoped to see beautiful Lili again and would patiently best thr coffee shop.
I almost fainted!!
I could not believe Lili did not run away w Danny then and there! Their chemistry and energy were connected to one another intensely and I could feel their vibrations. I thought to myself ‘ Lili he is smitten with you, he is so handsome, polite and kind, generates safety, did i mention that smile!!?? Please Lili, go out with Danny, what the heck!!????’
As beautiful fate would have it, later that same month, Lili accepted Danny’s invitation.
We are all blessed to have witnessed the deep and pure love of Danny and Lili.
Danny will never be forgotten. He shared himself with all of us, for some a lifetime and for some a brief moment in time. Yet to all he will endure in our hearts and minds eternal.
We love you Danny and Lili. Always and forever.

To My Gym Dad,
From the day we met, you were the most supportive and motivating person! Even when you would quit a task at a work out, you'd always make me laugh when you would say “I had to come over and motivate you.” “You got this Jess! Go Jess Go!” is what you'd always say. Even when you didn't give up on a task, you were still screaming over to me to make sure I finished each task, and vise versa. I will forever be great full for all the planks we did side by side, bopping to the music to pass the time. Not only did you always tell me how proud you were of me with workouts, but also about my personal life and achievements. I am beyond grateful you not only got to meet the love of my life, but gave us your blessing. You and Lili have always been relationship goals and another set of parents to me. The way you both showed your appreciation and unconditional love, was such an amazing thing to witness. Your infectious smile and abundance of love will be missed forever physically, but I know will live on within me! I don't think you knew how much of an impact you had on my life and for that, I will forever be so grateful!

Even though I did not know Danny for a long time, that short time of knowing him had a huge impact on me, watching him come to the gym and support Lili while she came and did her thing! He truly loved her so much and you could see and feel it just by his presence in the room! He had such a light about him. He’d get on that spin bike and just go! He’d then come into the room with us and pound it out with us as well! It was so amazing to watch and be a part of! I will forever remember him being at the gym. He will forever be watching over Lili. My deepest condolence are with you and your family at this time.

Danny,
It’s hard to put into words just how much you meant to all of us. You were such a wonderful soul, always lifting others up with your kind words and unwavering encouragement during our Bootcamp workouts. You had a way of making even the toughest days feel a little lighter.
But what I admired most about you was the way you loved your wife, my dear friend, Lili. The depth of your love for her was truly inspiring—a reminder of what it means to cherish someone wholeheartedly. You were an amazing husband, and your love for her was evident in everything you did.

I remember meeting Danny at a Zumba event Lili hosted, over 10 years ago. Danny was full of energy and hitting ALL the Zumba moves from Lili’s class; I was impressed Lol. I remember telling Lili after class, he’s a keeper! Danny was a keeper for many reasons, but one special reason was the way he and Lili complimented each other. They had a chemistry about them that was undeniable, to those who truly knew them. Danny and Lili will always share a love and bond that can’t be broken. “What’s understood doesn’t need to be explained,” is how I will remember the story of them. Rest in peace, dearest Danny.

Although I never met Danny in person, I had a phone call with him and Liliana that left an indelible mark on me. In that short conversation, I witnessed a strength and hope that I will never forget. In the midst of his own struggle, he never faltered in his role as a loving husband, always focused on ensuring that Liliana’s well-being was supported and protected.
When I first faced the overwhelming reality of my own husband's diagnosis, Danny spoke to me with the wisdom of someone who had walked the same difficult path. He showed me that even in the face of a challenging and uncertain journey, it is possible to maintain a sense of hope—not just for yourself, but for the person you love. Danny’s words were a testament to the strength that love can provide, and they brought me a comfort I wasn’t expecting.
His advice reminded me that cancer does not define the love we share with our partners; instead, it reveals the depth of that love and the extraordinary strength we find in one another. Through his words, Danny showed me that love has the power to carry us through the toughest of times.
To Liliana, thank you for allowing me to know him, even if it was just for a brief moment. My thoughts are with you friend.

I told Danny on his 50th birthday, that I will be not a Mother in Law, but another Mom to him. I always have him in heart as the light of life he was. He made feel es pecial when he spoke to me.
