Richard Garibian Goshen, New York Formerly of Hawaii Richard Garibian, 68, of Goshen, NY and Hawaii after a long and brave battle with illness claimed his well deserved rest with his maker on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence of Newburgh, NY. Richard was born October 11, 1941 in Bronx, NY, he son of the late Vahan and the late Mary Garibian. Richard will be missed by his many friends and family and survivors include his son, Richard Garibian of Portland, OR; daughters, Jill Jacques and husband Christopher of Greenville, NY and Lisa Rametta and husband Chet of Goshen, NY; brother, Vahan Garibian and wife Lillian of Egg Harbor, NJ; sister, Virginia Spacil and husband Henry of Port Huron, MI; 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, with the funeral service in the funeral home at 7:30pm. Entombment will be private with the family in Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum, Middletown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
