Helen Irene Arent Goshen, New York Helen Irene Arent, 72, of 101 of Goshen died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. Helen was born August 25, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Ralph and Helen Irene (Andersen) Holm. Helen retired as a Secretary from Prentice Hall, Old Tappan, NJ. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her 4 children, Karen Arent and husband Keith DellaVecchia, John Arent, Eric Arent and Bonnie Arent; her sister, Karen Deer and husband Brian; 4 grandchildren, Lea, Matthew and Daniel DellaVecchia and Kristy McCormack; niece, Laurel Kennedy and nephew, Brian Deer. She was predeceased by her parents. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 9:00 - 10:45 am at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen. The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 at St. James Episcopal Church, St. James Street, Goshen. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, NY. Donations may be made in Helen's name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312 Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
