Helen Marie Moraczewski Wood Boca Raton, FL Formerly of Florida, NY and Hartsdale, NY Helen Marie Wood, age 98, of Boca Raton, FL (formerly of Florida and Hartsdale, NY) passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, FL. Helen was born July 22, 1912 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of Frank and Marianna (Galus) Moraczewski. She was the wife of Harry Herbert Wood who passed away in 1951. Helen was a private Governess and also a private cook for a family in Hartsdale, NY. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Alan Wood and wife Evelyn of Goshen, NY, and Douglas Edmund Wood and wife Susan of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren, James Wood, Cheryl Wood, John Wood, Terance Wood, Patricia Wilson, Daniel O'Rielly and James O'Rielly; 15 great grandchildren, Danielle, Michele, Sara, Ryan, Jared, Erin, Kyle, Taylor, Katie, Brian, Mia, Addison, Braxton, Justin and Layla and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by 3 brothers, Stanley, Valentine and Joseph Moraczewski; 4 sisters, Sophie Coleman, Bertha Wozniak, Mathilda Frankowski and Irene Kwiatkowski and her great granddaughter, Samatha Rose Duff. Visitation will be Friday, November 5 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 6 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Helen's name to her parish church in Florida: St. John the Evangelist Church, 10300 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL 33498.
