Ruth Mary Buckholz Goshen, NY Ruth Mary Buckholz, 85, of Goshen, NY died Monday, November 15, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. Ruth was born February 26, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of John and Mary (Fanning) McGonigle. She was the cherished bride of 65 years of Julius "Bud" Buckholz. Ruth was a Representative for the New York Telephone Co., Massapequa, NY. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Ferguson and all the family & friends that have shown concern and caring to them at this very difficult time. She is survived by her loving & devoted husband of 65 years, Julius "Bud" Buckholz of Goshen; 2 daughters, Barbara A. Farrell of New Port Richie, FL and Donna M. McLoughlin and husband John of Goshen; brother-in-law, Donald Buckholz and wife Shirley of Bayonet Point, FL; sister-in-law, Midge Buckholz of New Haven, CT; 4 grandchildren, Steven, Caitlin, J.J. and Erin and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Donna and John McLoughlin's home, 321 Reservoir Road in Goshen on Friday, November 19, 2010 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Jude's, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of one's choice.
