Rosario Contorino Chester, New York Rosario Contorino, 89, of Chester, NY died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. Mr. Contorino was born August 7, 1921 in Chester, the son of John and Jennie (Patane) Contorino. He was the husband of Josephine Murabito Contorino. Rosario was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was self employed as a Produce Grower and Farmer and was a former member of the Middletown Elks Club. Rosario is survived by his wife Josephine Contorino at home; their daughter, Jennie Grace Federico and husband Dominick of Chester, NY; grandson, John Federico and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Morris and John Contorino and his sister, Fannie LaBarbera. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 13 at 10:00 am at St. Columba R. C. Church, 27 High St, Chester, NY. Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Chester, NY. Memorial donations may be made in Rosario's name to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
