Frank W. DeGeorge, 53, of Middletown, NY died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at home.
Frank was born May 7, 1958 in New York, NY, the son of Frank J. and Joan E. (Johnson) DeGeorge. He was the husband of Lori A. (Buttafuoco) DeGeorge.
Frank graduated from Goshen High School and was an outstanding athlete. He was a senior designer at Cornerstone Environmental, Middletown, NY. He was a Coach and sponsor of Middletown Little League and an avid Baltimore Orioles fan.
Frank was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He had an easy going personality and made friends wherever he went. He was loved by all those who knew him and will be remembered by for his caring ways. He fought a courageous battle with Lou Gehrigs Disease for over 4 years. He will be terribly missed. "Strike out ALS."
He is survived by his wife, Lori A. DeGeorge at home; parents, Frank J. and Joan E. DeGeorge of Goshen; son, Frank Michael DeGeorge at home; daughter, Christina Ann DeGeorge at home; brothers, Michael John DeGeorge and wife Sally of Natick, MA and Thomas L. DeGeorge and wife Melissa of North Haven, CT; one niece and 6 nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Carl Sr. and Beatrice Johnson and Salvatore W. and Mary Grace DeGeorge; and his aunt, Nancy Lee.
Visitation will be Friday, May 13 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, May 14 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown.
