Thomas William Wills, age 94, of Warwick, NY died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Schervier Pavilion Warwick, NY. Mr. Wills was born April 15, 1917 in Ontario, Canada. He is the son of the late John Wills and the late Clara (Burns) Wills. He was married to Eileen O'Connell Wills.
He was employed by Mayfair Regent Hotel New York, NY, six days a week for 48 years as a Superintendant of Services.
Thomas was a Veteran of the Army Air Corp and served during WW II He was past President of the Holy Name Society, he was a devoted NY Ranger fan who almost never missed a game he was an incredibly handy man that could fix almost anything. Thomas was the most easygoing guy you'd ever meet and had a wonderful sense of humor. The family moved to Florida in 1983 where their friends were. Thomas called Bingo, belonged to a Bowling League and was a volunteer Usher at Church.
He is survived by his wife: Eileen O'Connell Wills; sons, William Vincent Wills of Tampa, FL, James Francis Wills of Garden City, NY; daughters, Patricia Donnarumma of Atlantic Beach, NY, Eileen Moriarty of Raleigh, NC and Kathleen Wills of New Windsor, NY; sister Marjorie Zelinski of Queens, NY; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by his son Thomas David Wills and his sister, Irene Jerrells
Visitation well be Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 3 to 5 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home 82 South Church St. Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Stephen's R.C. Church, Warwick, NY on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Queens NY.
