BettyAnn Langbein, 69, of Campbell Hall, NY died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at ORMC-Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY.
BettyAnn was born August 23, 1942 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Page) Devine. Loving mother, she loved her grandchildren dearly, loved to travel, gardening, bowling, crossword puzzles, was an avid reader and loved listening to Frank Sinatra. BettyAnn will be dearly missed
After 30 years of service, she retired as the Deputy Town Clerk, she was also Secretary to the Supervisor, Secretary of the Planning Board, and Secretary of the ZBA all for the Town of Hamptonburgh, Campbell Hall, NY.
After a brief battle with cancer BettyAnn left behind her husband and best friend, Edward C. Langbein at home; children, Brian Jonigan and wife Natalie of Williamsburg, VA, Stacey Jonigan-Ponte of Foster, RI, Craig Jonigan of Williamsburg, VA and Kelly Jonigan of Bloomingburg, NY; stepchildren, Edward Langbein, Jr of Washingtonville, NY and Darlene Watson of Middletown, NY; brother, Joseph Devine of New Paltz, NY; sister, Grace Wellenberger of Palm City, FL; 11 loving grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren;. She was predeceased by her brother, William DeVine and 2 grandchildren, Jacqueline and Evan Jonigan-McGar.
The family would like to thank Orange Regional and St. Peters doctors and nurses for their wonderful care.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 8:30 pm on Wednesday evening in the Funeral Home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the Family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in BettyAnn's name to the American Cancer Society, 419 East Main Street, Suite 307B, Middletown, NY 10940.
