Edward W. Brogan, 75, of Middletown, NY, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Edward was born August 3, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Peter J and Jane (Mackey) Brogan. Edward served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Middletown Elks Lodge #1097, American Legion post of Middletown, NY. He retired from Xcitek Consulting Services, Inc., New York, NY as an Operations/Consultant. Edward is survived by 2 Sons, Edward W. Brogan, Jr. of Sayville, NY and Thomas James Brogan of Brookhaven, NY; 2 Sisters, Patricia Hanson and her husband Charles of Slate Hill, NY, and Barbara Brzynsky of Las Vegas, Nevada; Brother, Joseph Brogan and his wife Katherine of Goshen, NY; and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday Nov. 29, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross R.C. Church, 626 County Route 22, Middletown, NY 10940 at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011. Burial will follow in the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial Contribution may be made in Edward's name to the Middletown Elks Lodge #1097, 48-62 Prospect Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Arrangements are under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home. Inc.
