Goshen, New York

 

William Warren Glancey, 79, of Goshen died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY.

 

William was born April 12, 1932 in Morristown, NJ, the son of William Jennings Glancey and Frances Geraldine (Sharp) Glancey. He was the husband of Louise Jane Quinn Glancey.

 

Bill served in the Army during the Korean War from 1954 to 1955. He retired from Nestle Foods in New Jersey as a Salesman and worked at the Otterkill Golf Course in the Pro Shop, he was an avid golfer.

 

He is survived by his wife, Louise Jane Glancey at home; sons, William Philip Glancey and Michael Patrick Glancey, both of Goshen; sisters, Doris Rowe of CT and Frances Ruff of NJ; and granddaughters, Jessica Glancey and Alisandra Almonte.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY.

 

Burial with Honors will be in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
