Dear Kathy, Joey, Stevie and Lana,
I was abroad last week and just learned that we lost Skip. What a shock!
I am sorry I missed being with you then, but am here for you now. I hope to see all of you soon to share some of the warm and wonderful memories that reflect on Skip as the rare gem of a person we will always remember him for being.
I was fortunate to see Skip not too long ago. Then, as always, his pride and joy was his family. He talked long of each of you and then wanted to hear all about Joel. Such warmth and genuine interest made for authentic conversations that I will miss deeply. Skip was able to connect in a rare and wonderful way.
Always there were memories of trouble that Joel and Steve got into and lots of laughs.
Skip was a loving person and he drew his strength from all of you. Although I have been out of touch for too long, I understand why he was so fortunate. You gave him a wonderful loving life. And, although his life was much too short, this sense of family closeness and love was a great gift about which you all should feel very good. You made him a proud father, a loved husband and a happy person. And you gave his life true value.
And while that closeness makes the burden of his loss greater for you, take consolation in the richness of your time together.
Love from Joel and myself.
Mike

So many memories, you just dont know where to start.... Skippy has been with my family since before I was born. Married to my moms cousin, and my Godmother we have had so many special times together. Family gatherings, holidays, its just so unfortunate that this happened! I know that Skippy is now in Heaven with my mom and dad, and they are reunited as family again.... He will be missed and loved by all <3 Andrea

I worked with Skip for many years at Johnston's. He was a great guy. He handled almost every deal for me and my family when we bought cars. It never felt like a business transaction with Skip; he always asked about my wife and kids. The "deal" was always secondary in our conversations. Skip will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences to the entire Eubanks family. You are all in my prayers.

Skip is a man who will never be forgotten. Always a gentleman, and none better as a role model. You will be missed by all, but not forgotten by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. RIP.

Truly an amazing man. He put everyone else before him. I will never forget his conversations with me about basketball. He motivated me to do my best every day. It was so much fun hanging out with him and his amazing family. I am blessed that I knew him and will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
