FRANK CAMINO peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday Sept. 25th 2012.
Frank was born on January 29th 1917 in the Dominican Republic, educated in Puerto Rico and came to this country as a young man. He served his country proudly in the US Army during WWII. He retired from Chemical Bank (now known as JP Morgan Chase) in 1982 after a long career in banking. Frank was a volunteer at Horton Hospital where he "worked" a total of 10,055 hours between 1997 and 2009. He was honored as Volunteer of The Year in 2004 and received the President's Service Award.
Frank was predeceased by his wife Esther and his son Frank Jr. He is survived by his daughter Esther Zaccone and her husband Paul of Goshen NY and his daughter Maria Segovia and her husband Manuel of Wethersfield Ct. Frank was known as "Papa" to 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Frank's family would like to thank the staff at the Glen Arden Health Care Center for the wonderful care he received while at their facility.
Friends are invited to visit Thursday Sept. 27th from 2 & 4 and 7 & 9 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church in Goshen on Friday Sept. 28th at 10:00 am.
Interment with military honors will follow at the Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
