Obituary of Ann C. Flannery

Anna Beth (Cook) Flannery, of Beattie Road, Rock Tavern, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. She was 89.
Born November 30, 1922, the daughter of the late Max and Mabel (Danielson) Cook.
She was a graduate of Hubbard High School and attended Oregon State University. There she was a member of the Jr. Hostess League where she met her future husband, John at a college dance. She later went to work in the shipyards during World War II.
After the war she married and raised 6 children. She loved her family, gardening and needlework. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America at the Church of the Assumption in Maybrook, NY.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John A. Flannery, son John Robert Flannery and sister, Marguerite Baer.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Jerome) of Saratoga Springs; her sons, Kevin, Patrick and Chris of Rock Tavern and Dennis of Kerhonkson; daughter-in-law, Linda G. Flannery of Rock Tavern; grandsons, William (Christina) Moore, John (Meg) of Crystal Lake, IL; granddaughters, Amy (Brendan) Kelly of Albany; Chelsey G. Flannery of Salem, MA and Bridget of Rock Tavern; great grandchildren, Lena, Justin, Cetera, Collin, Mackenzie, Alex and Joey and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 27 at Church of The Assumption, 211 Homestead Ave., Maybrook, NY.
Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen.
