Jacquelyn M. Callaghan Slate Hill, New York Formerly of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania Jacquelyn M. Callaghan, 78, of Slate Hill entered into rest with her family by her side Monday, December 17, 2012. Jacquelyn was born April 20, 1934 in Mamaroneck, NY, the daughter of Matthew and Jane (Comerford) Murphy. She was the widow of James Callaghan. She volunteered at Wayne Memorial Hospital. "Mom was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and great Grandmother. Anyone who met her loved her. She was the life of the party and she will be greatly missed." She is survived by her 4 children, James Callaghan and wife Ursula of Washington Township, NJ, Stephen Callaghan of Lake Ariel, PA, Jacquelyn Pulliam and husband David of Slate Hill, NY and Christopher Callaghan and wife Patricia of Slate Hill, NY; 9 grandchildren, Kelly, Kristie, Kaitlyn, C.J., Sean, Dylan, Ryan, Alyson and Jack; 2 great grandchildren, Michael and Haley; sisters, Joan Heppes and Ann Rich; brother, Matthew Murphy; sister-in-law, Josephine O'Keefe and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, beloved husband, James, sister, Patricia Heilenday and brother, Joseph Murphy. Visitation will be Friday, December 21 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 10:00 am at St. Anastasia R. C. Church, Harriman, NY. Burial will follow in Ascension Cemetery, Monsey, NY.
