William D. Canfield Sr. William D. Canfield Sr., 83, of Spring City, PA entered into peaceful rest on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Southeastern Veteran's Center in Spring, City, PA. William (Bill) was born November 3, 1929 in Passaic, NJ the son of Jesse and Charlotte (Robertson) Canfield. Bill served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for many years as a Master Mechanic for McBride's in Goshen, NY and then for E. Tetz & Sons in Middletown, NY before retiring in 1994. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Corinne VanKleeck Canfield and his son Douglas Jon Canfield. He is survived by his children W. David Canfield Jr. and wife Cheryle of Camden, NC; Debra Arvanites and husband Tom of West Chester, PA; Donna Johnson and husband Gene of Hayes, VA; Daniel Canfield of Monroe, NY; Dorothy Johnston of Easley, SC; Denise Canfield of Pittsfield, MA; Daryl Canfield and wife Juliet of Eddystone, PA; Dwayne Canfield of Goshen, NY; Dean Canfield and wife Millie of Parrish, FL. Bill is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 step granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
