Fred I. Ball Goshen, New York Fred I. Ball, 90, of Goshen died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Fred was born August 26, 1922 in Tunkhannock, PA, the son of Ernest and Mary (Pettit) Ball. He was the widower of Hilda H. Konrad Ball. Fred retired from the Goshen Central School District, Goshen, NY as a Maintenance Worker. He was a former self employed farmer member - CSEA. He is survived by his two sons, Richard Ball and wife Regina of Warwick, NY and Ronald Ball of Goshen; sister-in-law, Teresa Kistner; granddaughter, Heather Hardy of Chesapeake, VA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Hilda; Uncle Homer Pettit; Aunt Louise Pettit and her husband Charles; 4 brothers-in-law, Charles (Helen) Konrad, John (Helen) Konrad, Joseph (Mary) Konrad, Stephen Kistner. Thank you to Valley View nurses on C-100 and ORMC (Progressive Care Unit) nurses on 2 North, and County Home Care nurses, Simone, Ann, and Kia. Visitation will be Monday, March 11 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the funeral in the funeral home at 10:30 am with Reverend Gary Fox officiating. Burial will be in Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Goshen Volunteer Ambulance Corp., GOVAC, P.O. Box 695, Goshen, NY 10924.
