ANN "GRAM" HORTON
April 25, 1917 - January 21, 2009
Ann "Gram" Horton, 91, of Maybrook, NY entered into rest Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus in Middletown, NY.
Ann was born April 25, 1917 in Burlington, NY the daughter of John and Amelia (Albrecht) Cawein. She was the widow of Lester Horton
Ann was a farmer and housewife. She loved the Yankees especially Jeter and Joe Torre.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Delessio and husband Carmen of Maybrook; son, Dr. Charles C. Horton and wife Teresa of Florida, NY; son-in-law, Lawrence Bracken; granddaughter, Patricia Bracken, and her son E.J. Brorchet, granddaughter, Lynda Bracken, grandson, Lawrence Bracken, Jr. and wife April and their children, Lawrence Joseph and Elizabeth; grandson, Carmen Delessio, Jr. and wife Amy and their daughter, Natalie; grandson, Joseph Delessio and wife Ann-Marie and their children, Henry, Audrey and Adeline; granddaughter, Ann Delessio Vandemark and husband Randy and their children Eva, Erin Stacy and Kelly; grandson, Timothy Charles Horton and wife Diane; grandson Jason Crawford Horton and fianc Laura Freeman and granddaughter, Sarah Frances Horton.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Lester Horton; daughter, Martha Bracken; brothers, John Cawein, George Cawein, Louie Cawein and William Cawein; sisters, Agnes Cawein Jennings, Florence Cawein and Mabel Cawein.
Visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2009 from 3-6 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen. The Funeral Service will be Friday at 6 pm in the Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Fox and Pastor Joshua Stewart officiating.
Burial will be private.
