William T. Earl, age 85, of Montgomery, New York died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. William was born May 8, 1923 in Craigville, NY the son of the late William D. and the late Mabel (Loud) Earl. He married Clare H.Hoeffner He served in the Army from 1945 to 1946 during World War II . He was employed by Grand Union, Washingtonville NY for 37 years, as a Journeyman Butcher, He was a 40 year member of the Wallkill Engine & Hose Company #2 of the Montgomery Fire Department; William enjoyed Bowling, Baseball & Basketball He is survived by his wife: Clare H, Earl at Home; 1 Son - William J. Earl of Montgomery, NY; 2 Daughters - Lynn Thompson & her husband John of Walden, NY; Patricia Boughton & her husband Douglas of Victor, NY; 2 Sisters - Minnie Edwards of Washingtonville, NY; Pauline Lipsey of Chester, NY; 6 Grandchildren - Rachel, Sarah & John Thompson; Jared, Aaron & Dana Boughton; Several Nieces & Nephews Calling hours will be on Tuesday January 27, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral will be Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home,. Burial will be in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen , NY. Contributions may be made to a Charity of your choice or the Humane Society of Walden, P.O. Box #135, Walden, NY. 12586 Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc. Goshen.
