WAYNE ALLEN THIBERT February 27, 1945 - March 6, 2014 Middletown, NY Wayne Allen Thibert, 69, of Middletown died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Manhattan VA Hospital, New York, NY. Wayne was born February 27, 1945 in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Clarence and Helen (Blair) Thibert. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded two Commendation Medals for heroism and meritorious achievement along with the Purple Heart. He retired from Duct-Tape, Middletown, NY. He loved fishing and hunting and was always there to help someone in time of need. He is survived by his sons, Bryan and wife, Melissa of Poughkeepsie, NY and Andrew Thibert of Middletown; two grandchildren: Luke Thibert and Julia Kennedy; and former companion and friend, Doris. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers: Clarence Thibert Jr. and Rodney Thibert and his former wife and friend, Virginia. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon Tuesday, March 11th at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
