Obituary of Lance T. Golubinski
Please share a memory of Lance to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lance T. Golubinski, 18, of Goshen, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
Lance was born February 29, 1996 in Denville, NJ, the son of Thomas J. and Elizabeth J. (Alloca) Golubinski.
Lance was a senior at the Goshen High School. He was an outstanding student who loved to learn. He excelled in both Math and Science. Lance scored a 100 in pre-calculus and earned the pre-calculus achievement award. Lance was very athletic and a fierce competitor. He was a member of the Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Football and Varsity Wrestling teams. Among his many accomplishments, he was the first wrestler in many years in Goshen to achieve 100 varsity wins. He received numerous awards for his wrestling, both trophies and ribbons. As impressive as Lance was as a student and athlete, he was also a responsible and a hard working young man, he would have received perfect attendance for all four years during high school. Lance worked at Redendos' Pizzeria as a delivery boy and short order cook. He worked hard enough to purchase his own car. He also taught himself all about auto mechanics. Lance's goal was to become an Engineer.
Lance was a very special and kind young man who had a great level of empathy. He was a caring and giving individual and it shows by the love and support we have received. Our family offers our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbors who have been so supportive and caring during this difficult time. Your compassion and thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Golubinski at home; sister, Alana Golubinski; maternal grandparents, Lucille and Robert Alloca; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and second Cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Helen Golubinski.
