Carmela M.(Pascarelli) Mayr Montgomery, NY Formerly of Sunnyside, Queens, NY Carmela M. "Pascarelli" Mayr, 76, loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and cousin, of Montgomery, NY, passed away, Friday, July 25, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY in the arms of her three devoted daughters. The daughter of the late Dominick and Ida (Taddeo) Pascarelli. She was born October 19, 1937 in New York City. She married the love of her life Thomas J. Mayr on April 28, 1962, who predeceased her on December 7, 2009. A family statement reads, "There is no greater love than that of a Mother's love. Our hearts are truly broken and we will find it hard to go on without her but know in our hearts we have peace and comfort in knowing that we will see her again in a beautiful place called Heaven." "Our heartfelt thank you to all of our friends and family for your love and support during this very difficult time. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for our mother and gave us comfort." Carmela leaves behind to cherish her memory, her three devoted daughters, Donna Signorella and husband Mario, Julie McNee and husband Donald, both of Montgomery and Laura Mayr Marshall, who cared so lovingly for mom, at home in Montgomery; her two loving sisters, Clara Angiulo and Mary Pascarelli; her 5 cherished grandchildren, Michelle, Thomas and Stephanie Signorella, and Megan and Lauren McNee of Montgomery; her two special nieces, Roseann Corsentino and husband, Joseph and their children, Jacquelyn, Jessica and Joseph and Nicole Ficorelli and husband, Peter and their children, Peter, Christian and Nicolas and many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents and husband Carmela was predeceased by her baby grandson, Kyle McNee; son-in-law, Keith Marshall and brother-in-law, Frank "Sonny" Angiulo. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29 from 2-4 PM & 6-9 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY, with Father Daniel O'Hare officiating. Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen, NY.
