I attended St.Johns Elementary through the 4th grade with Tom. I remember many fun games of dodgeball behind the church in the old schoolyard/playground with him. I haven't seen anyone since moving away 50 years ago but I clearly recall Tom LaGrutta. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I send my most sincere condolences to his family. May God keep you in His comfort.

I only wish I had been her to honor Tom's LIfe , I was just informed of his passing and with a heavy heart want to remind all those that crossed his path he was a really good guy ! One that would have your back . He was a wonderful Co-worker years ago and his light will be missed by all those that had it shine on them . . Sue

I only recently learned of Tom's passing. I am greatly saddened.I went to Middletown high school and we met at Lloyd's where we both worked. I watched his basketball games and went swimming at his house. One Christmas we made a promise that we would not buy gifts for each other. He showed up with a bottle of perfume. He treated me with respect as he did all of his friends, and I think he was a great guy. I have not kept in touch since high school, but I wanted to offer my condolences and I will pray for Tom and his family. Linda (Sorino) Sesa, Chalfont PA

I went to school with Tom at St. John's through the 5th grade and he was always a class act.Tom and his family was very active in with the church functions over the years. As I remember Tom was pretty good at basketball at Burke. I had lost touch with Tom over the years as I did with many others. Only recently was I made aware that Tom had been sick, the only good thing of his passing is that he is no longer suffering. My condolences to the family and I will keep you all in my thoughts & prayers. RIP and Godspeed Tom!!

That's a great picture of Tom in this obit. That's the way I will always remember him. I went to school at Oneonta with Tom, where we had so much fun and created a lot of memories. Tom was a great person, a great family man, and a great friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his awesome family. I will never forget you LaGrut, or those beautiful words you said to me a few days ago. "Keep the memories going". We will Tom, God Bless you.
