Obituary of Christopher E. Reyes
Please share a memory of Christopher to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Christopher Edward Reyes became an angel in heaven at the age of 25 on January 16, 2015.
Born in Brooklyn, New York beloved son of Maria and Joseph Palmese and Joseph Reyes. He was a marble setter in Local 7 at the Freedom Tower in New York, N.Y. a Communication Specialist in the Army National Guard Reserve.
Chris no one could ever have prepared us for the unfillable void in our lives and hearts with your untimely passing. The support has been as overwhelming as our loss. This is a testament to your true self. You will forever be a pure and genuine soul. He was our pride and joy and the light of Mama Judi, Mama Ana, Papi and Titi Joann his birthday twin. Suzie Q you were the love of his life and will always be part of our family.
Family came first and foremost. You were always there for your friends to either lend a helping hand or just listen. Beautiful son amazing grandson and loving nephew the best friend of all friends. Number one Yankee fan, class clown, loved his car, life of the party that loved house music. Handsome, great cook took pride in everything he did. In all of life's challenges he rose to the occasion, even serving in Afghanistan to protect our freedom and safety. He gave the best hugs. Most of all you will always be my beautiful baby boy with that amazing smile.
Whichever way I go I will come back to the place you are, my heart.
I will borrow from Peter Gabrielle's lyrics from in your eyes.
In your eyes
The light the heat
In your eyes
I am complete
In your eyes
I see the doorway to a thousand churches
In your eyes
The resolution of all fruitless searches
In your eyes
I see the light and the heat
In your eyes
Oh I want to be that complete
I want to touch the light
The heat I see in your eyes"
I was blessed to have you in my life even though it was brief I will cherish every moment till we meet again my beautiful baby boy. Love Always, Mom
