Obituary of Beverly A. Wood

BEVERLY A. WOOD April 11, 2015 Goshen, NY Beverly A. Wood, 75, of Goshen, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at home in Goshen. Beverly was born January 10, 1940 in Goshen, NY, the daughter of Leonard House and Susie (Sloat) House. She retired as a bank teller for M&T Bank, Monroe, NY after 50 years; was a member of the Goshen United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the Goshen Ecumenical Food Pantry. Beverly is survived by her children: Stephanie Weaver and husband, Harold of Orange City, FL; George Wood and wife, Marjorie of Goshen; and Dane Joseph Wood and wife, Nicole of Middletown; five grandchildren: Lindsey, Tyler, Lee, Brendan and Cassidy; great granddaughter, Cheyenne; several nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends. Beverly's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the private healthcare aides, who cared for Beverly. The compassionate care all of you provided to Beverly will never be forgotten and was truly appreciated. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14th at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15th in the Funeral Home, with the Reverend Dale Ellen Krazmien officiating. Burial will follow in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY.
