Charles Wesley Price, III, age 85, of Goshen, NY died Friday, November 10, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY.
Charles was born January 27, 1921 in New York, NY the son of Charles Wesley Price II and Ruth Buckbee Price. He was married to the Late Lillian Swartout Seybolt Price.
He was a retired Math teacher for Meadow Hill School, in Newburgh, NY; A Navy veteran of World War II, an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and choir member of the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen for over 50 years. A long time member of the Masonic Lodge in Goshen, a member of the Golden Songsters of Orange County, a member of the Archeological Society, volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Life Lines, Radio Vision Mediation Project, and a member of the Mental Health Association.
Charles is survived by two daughters: Dr. Laura Price Kennedy and her husband Dr. Thomas F. Kennedy of Goshen, NY, Beth Anne Price of Moorestown, NJ. and one son: Charles Wesley Price IV of Goshen, NY; Granddaughter, Brooke Price Aclin of Goshen, NY; Step Grandchildren, Thomas F. Kennedy of Plainsboro, NJ, Judith Ann Kennedy of Emmaus, PA; Great Granddaughter, Roxanne Lillian Aclin and three Great Grandchildren Caitlin Kennedy, Jacob Kennedy and Colm Kennedy; Nephews, Donald S. Wester, Dirk E. Wester and Robert Fergusson. He was predeceased by his Step Mother, Helen R. Price
Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2006 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen, 33 Park Place, Goshen, with Reverend David Kingsley officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Plains Cemetery in Otisville, NY on Saturday, November 18, 2006.
