Obituary of Ruth Gorish

RUTH GORISH Campbell Hall, New York Ruth Gorish, age 87, of, Campbell Hall, NY, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. Ruth was born September 30, 1921 in Monroe, NY the daughter of Johannes and Roelfin (Keweit) Ossentjuk. She was the widow of Kenneth J. Gorish who predeceased her March 26, 2002. Ruth was a Postal worker and retired from the Campbell Hall Post Office. Ruth was a loving wife for 59 years and the best mother, grandmother and friend that anyone could ask for. She is survived by her daughters Linda Gorish of Margate, FL, Connie Scott and husband Bob of Temecula, CA; brother, Henry Ossentjuk of Douglas, AZ; grandchildren, Hans Rudy, Wendy Rudy-Jones and husband John, Kenneth Galus, and Jonathan Harford and wife Paige; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Kenneth and brothers Jasper and John Ossentjuk. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
