Stella C. DelVecchio, age 91, of Goshen, NY, formally of Piermont, NY passed away on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick. Mrs. DelVecchio was born October 8, 1916 in Nyack, NY, the daughter of the late Nicolo and Santa (Alizio) Berardi. . She is survived by her son Marcello DelVecchio and his wife Arlene of Goshen, daughter-in-law Nancy and beloved grandchildren, Theresa, Lisa, Anne, Joanne, Celeste, Francesca, John and sixteen great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Mary Berardi and many nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by her husband John, Sr. and son John, Jr., brothers, Louis, Fred, Dominic and sisters, Mary and Anna. Calling hours will be at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday , Jan. 11, 2007 at St. Johns R. C. Church in Piermont NY. Internment will be in Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
