Muriel Cawein Bloomingburg, NY Muriel Cawein, a lifelong area resident of Bloomingburg, NY, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2009. She was 81. The daughter of the late Basil and Sara Bush Marsh, she was born August 24, 1927 in Damascus, PA. Muriel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Edward Cawein, at home; daughter, Linda Brown and her husband, Leonard of Mt. Hope; sons, William Cawein and his wife, Alberta of Queens, NY, and Edward Cawein and his wife, Sue of Campbell Hall; grandchildren: Christina Brown, Nicole Medley, William Cawein Jr., Jennifer Cawein, Andrew Cawein, Katie Brown, and Raymond Cawein; great-grandchildren: Steven Brown, Samantha Brown, Matthew Brown, Tyler Medley, Page Medley and Dakotah Basso; sister, Marian Crudo of Bloomingburg; brother, Donald Marsh of Middletown; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Cawein; brother, Laurence Marsh, and sisters, Anna Edwards and Cora Lynch. Services will be private.
