Wilfred W. Simpson, 61, of Goshen died Monday, July 14, 2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, NY. Wilfred was born July 17, 1946 in New York, NY the son of Wilfred F. and Odelle (Royster) Simpson. He was married for 22 years to Audrey Morgan until she passed in 1990 He was a 1964 graduate of Music and Art High School in New York, NY, entered the U.S. Air Force and served from October 1967 to October 1971, was employed by R.J. Reynolds in the Bronx as a Salesman, and was a truck driver and an Umpire in the N.Y.S. Umpires Association. He is survived by 3 sons, Timothy Simpson and wife Dina of Goshen, NY, Todd Simpson and wife Jaime of Plattsburgh, NY and Terry Simpson of Croton Harmon, NY; his brother, Wesley Simpson of Hackensack, NJ and 3 grandchildren, Jaylen, Kiera and Jordan. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Wilfreds name to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen, NY.
